Mounted on paper, this artwork was dedicated to Roger Vuataz, a Swiss composer, and was most likely completed during an interview with Radio-Genève.

Branimir Petrovic, a Croatian artist and caricaturist born in Zgreb around 1888, spent most of his career in Nyon, Switzerland. He passed away in Nyon in 1957, leaving behind a legacy of humorous and satirical drawings. After settling in Geneva following World War I, he became a regular contributor to the newspaper La Suisse, known for his caricatures of delegates and officials of the League of Nations.
