A scrapbook compiled by Deanna Fischer. In a letter dated May 26, 1953, Deanna writes to President Dwight Eisenhower. In this letter she indicates that she’s 10 years old, in the fifth grade, and she tells President Eisenhower about her hobby of writing letters to famous people.
Over 30 pages, this book is filled with photographs, autographs, and correspondences between young Deanna Fisher and some of the most famous names of the age including Elizabeth Taylor, Fred Astaire, Liberace, President Eisenhower and his wife, and many others.
The years date from 1953 to 1956 and the scrapbook measures 36cm x 55cm.
