Ida Clauss (1875–1917) was a German painter and illustrator associated with the Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) movement and the Munich art scene. 

Born: 1875 in Königsberg (now Kaliningrad, Russia). Died: 1917 in Munich, Germany.

    Clauss was active in both fine arts and commercial illustration.

    She primarily worked in oil on canvas, often depicting genre scenes, landscapes, and interiors.

    She illustrated several children's books in the Jugendstil style, a popular decorative art movement in Germany at the turn of the 20th century. 

    Her works continue to appear in European auction houses
